The 1st Mine Rescue Competition, held in TÜPRAG_Efençukuru Gold Mine in 2019, has gone down in history as one of the most important events in the Turkish mining sector. This competition aimed to demonstrate the rapid and effective intervention skills of mining workers and teams in the sector in emergency situations. The main goal of the competition is to save lives and maximize safety in critical situations such as mining accidents.
During the competition, rescue teams from different mines faced various challenging scenarios and were judged on their performance in a real emergency environment. The cooperation, skill and technical knowledge demonstrated by each team not only raised safety standards in the mining industry, but also reinforced the solidarity and team spirit of the teams.
This first competition, held in 2019, inspired future events and played an important role in raising awareness of mine rescue. On this page, you can find detailed information about the 1st Mine Rescue Competition, the competition results and our visual archive reflecting the atmosphere of that day.
