The third Mine Rescue Competition, which has become a high standard in the sector under the leadership of the companies that lead the world mining, will be held at the Turkish Coal Enterprises Garp Lignite Enterprise in the Tavşanlı district of Kütahya between 17-20 September 2024, organized by the Turkish Miners Association.

The organization will be attended by 15 leading mining companies in Turkey, including Acacia Mining, Çayeli Copper, DEFAS, Esan Eczacıbasi, Eti Krom, Gubretas, Kias, Koza Gold, Lidya Mining, Oksut Mining, Polyak Eynez, TUMAD, TUPRAG, TKI and TTK. Zenit, Gumustas and Dimin Mining will be present at the organization as observers.

The competition will be held in 6 different categories: underground search and rescue (landfill), team competence, aboveground fire, aboveground search and rescue (earthquake), vehicle accident response and chemical incident response (HAZMAT).
